Spicy Feta Cheese Spread (Tyrokafteri)

A spicy, creamy Greek dip to add to your meze spread.


16 oz. feta cheese, diced (2 ¾ cups)

4 tbsp. Greek yoghurt

4 tbsp. olive oil

2 tbsp. red wine vinegar

1 green bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped (1 ½ cup)

1 hot chili pepper, such as banana peppers, ( 1 ⁄ 4 cup)


In a food processor, add the cheese, yogurt, olive oil, vinegar, and both peppers. Process until the ingredients are evenly combined, about 30 seconds. Transfer to a bowl and serve with a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
